IAIJ Makes First Contact With U.N.!

Just to let all of you know that we are pursuing our involvement at the United Nations with our journalist association - International Association Of Independent Journalists Inc. - a not-for-profit corporation. Our first order of business was to get on mailing lists for publications and e-mail lists for news events.

Every program has to start off somewhere and we have taken the first tentative steps in this program which should last many years before we reach our stated objectives. I for one want to be the first to trip down to New York City on a U.N. mission. Maurice is so paranoid about travel (especially to the States) he mentioned that the minor affairs were up for grabs and I look forward to the exciting experiences that lie ahead!

We will continue to update everyone on our progress, and if not here at FOF, then at our site (iaij.org).
