Anti-War Rally - Toronto
By Maurice Ali, Journalist
Toronto, Canada - The one year anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. The invasion to spare the world of "weapons of mass destruction" and to cut the link to Bin Laden. Well.....no "weapons of mass destruction" were found and Bin Laden is as active as ever.....so what was it for?
With this in mind; many groups took part in a protest to mark the anniversary of the "invasion" of Iraq. As you will see, it was a get together of many diverse people and organizations.
Some sights and sounds from the one year anniversary protest against the invasion of Iraq:

There were also many smaller, more informal groups and organizations there to make their statement. What follows is a collage of pictures of the serious, fun, and funny goings on at this lively yet poignant event:

I was quite surprised at the size of the crowd, given that the weather was rainy and just above zero. Kind of a testament to Man's revulsion of war and the reasons behind it.
