IAIJ Side Event at the 57th Session of the Commission for Social Development!
By Tyrone Taiwo – IAIJ Inc.
The International Association of Independent Journalists is pleased to announce that we will be holding a side event at the 57th Session of the Commission for Social Development. Details about the side event will be announced shortly. Our representative going to the United Nations for this event is Maurice Ali who is the President and CEO of IAIJ:
Maurice Ali
“One behalf of myself, the Board of Directors and the general membership, I would like to thank the Bureau of the Commission for Social Development and the Commission for Social Development for the opportunity to hold a side event during the 57th Session called “A Positive Major Mandate for Humanity at the United Nations.”
This side event will focus on The Fortress Experiment which was a 13 year experiment that focused on what is important in our lives and how we should all live our lives, and the in-depth report we did on the experiment that proposes the positive mandate for the United Nations. We will go over the report with artifacts from the experiment and detailed analysis of such a mandate proposal. This will be an open workshop for anyone that attends to fully participate as we disseminate the idea and concept for this positive major mandate for humanity."
All of us here at IAIJ wish Maurice all the best on his trip to the United Nations in New York and at the side event we are holding there.
More details as they become available:
