Bringing the Mass Media to the Masses Initiative!

As part of our never ending advocacy for our journalists to access all forms of the mass media in order to access and disseminate information, the International Association of Independent Journalists Inc. is excited to announce a new initiative called: Bringing the Mass Media to the Masses Initiative!
This initiative is a long term endeavor. It culminates 13 years of involvement by IAIJ since its informal start back in 2003. An involvement that spans print, radio and television as well as the internet. Citizen journalism is not just an internet experience, it is an experience that can embrace all forms of the mass media, and IAIJ's involvement in the making of several TV documentaries called "The Fortress Experiment" (by a production house called Fortress of Freedom Inc.) will show that this access is a definite reality for all!
This will be a long term initiative for IAIJ and we hope to produce several reports and studies on access to the mass media from this firsthand experience and present our findings and experience onto the world stage. For now we will begin by announcing the intention of the new initiative and then move on to IAIJ's history in these various forms of accessing the mass media which is first hand experience to the powerful arguments from that experience to make the claim that the mass media should be open to all!
