Proposed IAIJ Offices In Asia!
By Samantha Blackwell: IAIJ Inc.
The International Association of Independent Journalists Inc. (a not-for-profit-corporation) is currently looking at a feasibility study to expand its support services to members in Asia. The extent of this support will be by satellite offices in two more countries. The current list of countries and cities nominated are:
India
Mombia (current population over 18.4 million people)
Mombai
New Delhi (current population over 21 million people)
New Delhi
Thailand
Bangkok (current population over 8.2 million people)
Bangkok
Japan
Tokyo (current population over 13.2 million people)
Tokyo
Time frame and selections of the new offices will depend on member participation in those areas. The actual offices and phone lines and other "nuts an bolts" of such infrastructure have already been examined and are economically viable through funds at the association or through the IAIJ-FOF Group. On-going consultation by members is still welcome through the commonly used channels for members at IAIJ.
