Willis Hiscock At The Newfoundlander!

The Newfoundlander!
Willis Hiscock and his partner Gary Cooper sizzled at the Newfoundlander located in Toronto! I arrived at the venue before show time (10:30) to sign some contracts with Willis and videotape the two perform before the large crowd. First thing that hit me was the marque: "Live Act, Willis" and I figured he must be a regular to be known just as Willis. Anyway the dynamic duo performed all sorts of songs from pop to East Coast songs and to several from Willis's just released CD: Lost."

There was dancing on the floor in front of the men and pool tables to the side and a lineup of fans from the front door to the bar at the back.

The two journeymen performers took a break after about one hour (they would be there for several hours more) and I took a few photos outside in the chilly December air.

And so went another night of entertainment for Torontonians looking to be entertained and to forget the worries of life. Gigs like this are the staple of a musician's life and Willis and Gary are very talented to keep pulling very large crowds like the one tonight!
