The Car Show!

Ever since those heady days last year when gas reached 1.40 a litre the big bad muscle cars became pretty much a bad thing. So imagine my surprise when I happened on a car show crammed into the corner lot of a suburban mall here in Toronto. I have been to many and this one was typical with mostly gas guzzling big motor muscle cars of the sixties and seventies with a smattering of real vintage and modern day sports cars. I have to say that I was shocked that almost the entire crowd was middle-aged or older. Hardly any young people were there. I take this as the stigma of the current environment toward pollution and conservation. So I guess it was expected to be an old man's show. In any case here are some photos of the cars that ruled the road when gas was cheap and thrills were just a gas pedal away!
