Fortress Of Freedom Inc. turns five today, being incorporated on January 27, 2004. This corporation (like all our corporations) is a marvel of economy and agility. FOF was the test mule for what I call the dawning of the new age of "super agile corporations" - corporations that run on nothing, have almost no payroll, and don't really need any office space or even a physical address. They are very much products of the digital age. Where else could a company that started with almost no fixed costs, have the range of the largest multi-nationals. If you take a look at our accomplishments in music, TV, and print, you will be amazed at the cost vs the output ratios.

I am putting this corporate business model out there. Think of me as it's avatar, the only thing important to the corporation is it's constitution and absolute survival above all. Anything and everything goes with these companies. They take and discard when usefulness is no longer there. They are survivalists in a competitive world with no compromise. These companies are "solid" and make no mistake on that. Do not underestimate the single-mindedness, ruthlessness and dogged persistence to goals that mark these business models. In a way I have created "media monsters"and let them loose on the world. Their saving grace is their humanitarian constitutions that keep them working for altruistic goals.

The day of being nice and gentleman rules of conduct are gone. We play for keeps and we play to win! The companies will survive and prosper, and become an influence in our world, an influence that will be a positive one. Our first five years is just the beginning!
