IAIJ Initiates Certification Program!

As we set up the association, we thought it prudent to set up a certification program and test for IAIJ members. This will be separate from the verification and archiving that is done at International Archiving Of Independent Journalist Inc. and is totally the association's domain. The certification will be a stand alone certificate stating the journalist has passed our rigourous testing on all matters regarding reporting, ethics, researching, etc. and meets certain standards we feel appropriate for us to certify the journalist with our association.
This certificate will be just one of the initiatives the association will develop to support the amateur and professional journalist in the real world. At the present time we are developing the course material and test and I will be the first to take it. We are also going to issue the certificate with the IAIJ seal embossed to the successful applicants.
