				| TORONTO IN WINTER

 By Julia O.

 I feel as though,
 I am alone in this world,
 In this cold bleak place...
 that I call HOME???
 My ass is numb;
 I can't feel my f***ing fingers.
 Chipped nail polish,
 Black, like my thoughts...
 I am the trees,
 Bare; in the cold;
 Naked, against winter's
 icy touch...
 Left without beauty;
 A few fragments still hold on,
 A mere skeleton, of who I once was;
 But, as they struggle,
 they shall loose their grasp,
 and leave me...ALONE,
 Against the bitter winds...
 Breath hangs in the icy air.
 White snow, stained by footprints
 and cigarette butts...City winters
