Picking up the slack
I'm picking up the pieces
Which have kept me held back

It's been a long road
And will only get longer
I'm striving for change
The world needs to rearrange

We had it made
But the wars and crusades
Our beuty began to fade
Now I see it, it needs some aid

I'm gonna change it
Bring it back to the basics
Start the revolution
Re-write the constitution

So I am pushing back the clock
Rewinding the world
Pushing back the clock
So many will mock

To free our spirits
