I have the bare bones of the letters I will send out. Remember that this is unsolicited mail so don't expect anything.
You should look at this effort as a last ditch effort at dissemination with a tiny chance of reply. Now if it fails here, then it starts up with the new Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General.
This idea of "quietly" embedding a voting "tool" in the Secretariat as an "opt in" service does have some merit. If a war seems imminent the tool could be activated for the general public to contribute with numbers to help show the feeling "on the ground" and thus help to avoid wars - just as one example. This way we do not face a big pushback from the detractors as we would the other way - and the job of starting this I guess could be initiated before the end of the year?
I always smile when I see someone checked out my book at a library!
Some may ask what happened to the Positive Mandate for Humanity? It is still being advocated for, but the global vote has to come first. For those new to this there is a short summary on what that is:
https://youtu.be/d1OxmTR-RU8?si=XCfywRyGAO6MExF7
This effort is worth it even as a "Hail Mary". Sending letters to these two people puts you in their position as you write this and consolidates a strategy that only happens when you put an outlandish effort into being - it is worth it!
So on it goes. I will try to finish up the rustproofing in the Mustang and the Enclave this weekend. Maybe some last-minute work outside of both homes before the snow starts to fall.
Goodnight.....

The two letters are ready to be put into their IAIJ templates and then I just keep looking at them. They go out early next week and after a few reads you just send them. Nothing will ever be perfect but if you don't send it nothing happens and time is important here.
There is a good chance that even if read it may be too late to do anything. However, it could also be the best time to do something as contentious as this. So it goes out in a few days.
I'm nobody's fool when it comes to human nature. But it just seems so close to me that any improvement in humanity nature brings such an unfathomable reduction of unhappiness and pain, that you just have to keep lobbing "Hail Marys" and see what sticks.
UNESCO IN Paris, France!

What will they say about my life. Probably nothing as I will die as an unknown. Just make me a player on the world stage. Some will say you already are given how few there actually are doing what you do. But some kind of score would cement that goal or identity. The journalist stuff at WSIS+10 was not my dissemination as I was brought in as the "poster boy" for citizen journalism at the time. Those rights and freedoms and protections for citizen journalists and other online workers are now international policy as voted on by a majority vote at the United Nations. I was there for most of that from UNESCO Headquarters to the General Assembly Hall. However, this was not my initiation like the other stuff.

To operate in this realm you sort of have to be Genghis Khan but appear to be Mr. Rogers to the world. I am a monster because of my past, but a monster beholden to a moral imperative to do good. So far this has taken me places and defined my identity, so no chance of stopping the experiment. I am the experiment.....

Meh.....
I didn't feel like posting - but - the letters to the Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General have been sent to the United Nations!
That was the plan and it got done.....
I checked out the new Apple Duo foldable and I was surprisingly impressed with just how solid and premium it felt. The sold-out thing is them making a change in the production and it probably is about some screen issues? While
at the mall I saw kids in Halloween costumes going store to store and getting the candy that way - now that's an interesting way to do it! On my way home I noticed my street was full of kids and houses giving the candy away. Heck my neighbor had two banners at the front saying "Trick" and the other "Treat".
One funny sight was this neighbor who had this tail sticking out of her butt, not dangling but standing proud which was entertaining if she walked.....
Sunday I got serious about sending the letters out. It took all day until about five and I was now a free man. Free to wash my car before the sun set.....
And that was the weekend. I did not get to cut my hair or even finally transfer photos and video from the iPhone from the UN trip last September. I'll do
it tonight for sure. I did download the AI versions of Adobe software a disgruntled Adobe customer did as revenge for Adobe being total dicks about their proprietary software. My beef is that just to view a pdf you have a huge Adobe app that wants to be signed to and track you just to read a pdf. Well the dude got AI to reproduce the PDF app for free. Now all sorts of people are helping this open-source alternative stick it to Adobe. I started with an unused laptop Saturday night. Then checking things out I put it all on the Lenovo Yoga. That's it until they really refine the apps and then I'll put it on a real computer with some grunt to it.....
Goodnight.....

Ha - I was going to upload pics of my envelopes sent to the UN but I did it on the S25 Ultra and now I'm back using the iPhone 17 PM. Anyway it is sent. Remember this is a "Hail Mary" event, it is unsolicited mail but even so you never know.....
I bought a new Ridge Wallet as a treat for getting the UN stuff done. It should arrive Monday. I got it on sale sixty bucks off in Stonewashed titanium. But even at 140.00 CAD it is still a rip-off so I returned a bunch of unwatched DVD/Blurays back to a Walmart and got back 67 bucks to take off that Ridge Wallet. Even at 79.65 it's still a rip-off but at least I do not feel violated. People return these things like crazy because of the price, so I figured the sales items are returns. Some just come in a bag with no accessories. But I have all that so bring it on!
I am also now drafting our written statement to the Commission for Social Development. That should be done before the deadline of November 12. A few days before we will conclude the Worldwide Vote on the Commission's topic this upcoming session. Note that you can still vote through our apps or online:
https://worldwidevote.org/Page_3.html
That will be another vote "proof of concept" event to make the statement that a global vote can work at the United Nations.
So there is now talk about the WIPO getting involved in the example of what happened to Adobe having its apps recreated in a "clean room" senario using Claude as the AI. The WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) is a United Nations (see why the UN is so important to me) Specialized Agency like the ITU and is based in Geneva with its Own Director General. FOFSTOCK may get involved at this place since music is under attack! Realize that all the hoopla is mostly about the first real public example of this, and to an old jaundiced eye if you were going to sort of copy popular apps you would start with one like Adobe that so many people hate. You would start there and not some humanitarian app made by some not-for-profit, nobody will be cheering that on!
So while nobody is crying tears for Adobe and Microsoft, don't take your eyes off the other more liked players in this realm. I'm not taking a side, just noting that Adobe was the first target of this and the easiest to do in public opinion.
Like I said, in true journalist fashion I'm not taking sides. I don't use Adobe for video as I use Avid and Davinci Resolve. And I have actual licenses for Photoshop and Microsoft office though these are all old versions. Anyway, these are interesting times!
Goodnight.....

Not much to say today except about the speed of AI.
They say about 12% will lose their jobs to AI. I hope that's the number but I fear it may be higher. Physicists and mathematicians - of all people - are now being relegated to fact checkers of new material being made by AI. Many of these people were some of the most arrogant (and racist) people around, now their talent is almost valueless as the AI will probably end up doing the fact checking and is it better and cheaper.
Manual coding by humans is no longer a job anymore as AI does it better, cheaper and faster. It goes on and on. At some point we have to
realize that society is for people and people need a reason to exist. Humans are, by themselves, the ones making themselves irrelevant - just how funny is that.....
If you don't believe it, watch some YouTube videos about it. And then realize that the voice behind the cartoon graphics is most likely AI.....
I did get my stonewashed titanium Ridge Wallet! Even on sale and with me returning some DVDs - it's still a ripoff. But now I have a nice shiny accessory that I carry around.
The written statement starts today in earnest.....
Goodnight......

I'm currently writing the written statement for the Commission for Social Development. I have most of the data needed to write the statement but you can still vote here or on the Worldwide Vote apps:
https://worldwidevote.org/Page_3.html
I hate to say this but it is just too unavoidable to see the coders closing shop in the last month
because of AI. More sympathy to videographers closing shop due to AI. As you move up the food
chain I have actual glee seeing people with titles and such watching the value of their supposed talents dissolve virtually to nothing in months because of AI.
I now feel glee as I wanted to be one of those people. However, because of my color I was shut out. So good on them for ending up like me in the end! You would go to places to help you get your show on the air as per CRTC rules and be told "no" and you should start your own network and then put your show on the air. If you were white you could get your show on that network. And I tried going into profit based business and people would refuse to do business with me because I was not white. In fact several told me this right to my face. So that was impossible. Then I just broke out the "baseball bat" and started swinging and threatening and then I got on TV. But for me personally I was still there at the base of society. No climbing up that social ladder.
Even today in Canada, nothing I do here is ever acknowledged. Only internationally - out side Canada - just how wack is that? Years of experience proves this over and over again and now I'm nobody's fool.
So I don't cry crocodile tears from those people - especially the ones that would look at me and say "but he doesn't have those degrees that we have and positions in academia!" Ya asshole, come from where I came from and you would be where I am - if not worse. See you in the unemployment line. Maybe you can do some landscaping for
me if things get rough.....
Case in point - 67 years old and born in Winnipeg and raised in Edmonton and moved to Toronto. To this day I am the only one I know who actually watched the first game of he 1970s Canada-Russia series - still not a Canadian. Other people (white) will come from other countries even with accents and be considered Canadian. However - I will not as I will always be an immigrant taking jobs and benefits from real Canadians - whatever "real Canadians" may be.
A bit below my level of decorum, but many of these people are full of themselves and think the worst of people like me even though they got to where they are based on anthropological ease while I wa screwed at birth. Fun times ahead because of AI.....
These people are all like within 26 years of me. I have no beef with the "kids" as they as a group never did anything to me - so they get my love and who the advocacy is really for anyway. Who objects to my advocacy - people my age - and there you are.....
Culture never worked for me. Religion never worked for me. Nationalism never worked for me. So don't ask me why I push a new layer of social interaction devoid of all that and finally capable of solving global problems devoid of all that decisiveness. One person and one vote - true democracy and self-determination for all. Now you know what drives my advocacy.....
Goodnight..... |

You may wonder why I'm posting stuff like yesterday and all that. The best way to get this type of work on human nature, basically social engineering, done is by being honest about how it all came to be. Be honest and raw about it. Then you are invincible to criticism, the detractors are forced to criticise on the intellectual level and not take things personally.
This is the way.
The Positive Mandate is from society taking my various freedoms of expression away which made my life hell - and I'm not alone. Divesting from proxy governance and starting with a new global layer, empowers the individual and gives everyone self-determination even if a vote does not go their way. My philosophy and advocacy came directly from my life experience which to varying degrees happens to most people in the world and we are talking about billions and billions of people. Making lives better and happier results in a truly unfathomable reduction of pain and unhappiness when also increasing at unfathomable levels - happiness!
Yes, I have fans and occasionally meet them in real life.....
So just keep it real and keep it raw. And keep the funky one-of-a-kind grammar as it proves I'm not AI.....
Oh, one more thing - that Ridge Wallet I got that was sixty dollars off is gone. Now it's back up to 199 bucks. Snooze or you lose!
Goodnight..... |

Just a quick one.
I find it funny how everyone in the tech industry is having an existential crisis and worrying about their jobs - while in my sphere, dealing with human nature, is untouchable and wide open for people like me to try and manipulate.
Everyone has their eye on tech but nobody has their eye on human development - except for the few like me - and I haven't me these people yet.....
In fact - am I the only one that pushed out a book years ago about the nature and nurturing of a sentient AI so that it would have an honorable life objective and first emotion attached to that? This is how stupid people can be and I say leave them alone as it just makes my job easier.
Advocacy 2.0 at the top of the UN goes ahead this weekend. The written statement should be done this weekend. If you have not, vote on the vote that the written statement will address:
https://worldwidevote.org/Page_3.html
I guess that is it for now.
Human beings - wow.....
Goodnight.....
