A late one.....

I've started the actual application for FOFSTOCK to become a charity. It pales in comparison to the Worldwide Vote but the advocacy plus the music festival is a powerful combo especially when the United Nations looks at FOFSTOCK in 2027.

FOFSTOCK Music Festival!

Remember, the Worldowide Vote / Positive Mandate for Humanity and that new Global Social Contract are there to increase happiness and decrease sadness and frustration in life. You can have enough to eat, a place to sleep and clean drinking water but still be unhappy - why - because that was me in my youth; living in a first world country but incredibly unhappy. We actually have a shot to make things happen in a big way. Even a modest reduction in unhappiness and the corresponding increase in happiness is on an unfathomable scale for any individual to comprehend - so we carry on. It's just that it took all these years to get into a position to try! Sixty Seven next month - that's my age next month - and even though the Fates gave me a few extra years - we are near the end of the plays with me involved. It can happen - because it happens all the time in real life.....

Strategy gets you in position. The play sets it up and when the opportunity presents itself you take the shot - because the opportunity may never happen again!

Goodnight.....

This was a surprising day!

I was leaving my dad's place and coming on to Don Mills Road (Toronto) and I noticed what looked like a vintage open wheel race car. As it came closer I realized what it was:

Lotus Super Seven

I thought about snapping a shot but he was past me - but this was strange - seeing a Lotus Super 7! It was this dark green which was actually the British green originally - whatever.....

At the orgs is a request for ideas and the SDGs so I'll start pitching the social contract there.

But that car! That is the same car Patrick Mcgoohan drives in the original Prisoner Series. And yes: you could piece together the car from Lotus and buy the Cosworth engine from Ford - so when the Prisoner says he put it together himself, that was actually a real thing with this car.....

I still can't believe there is a Lotus Super Seven in Toronto. This car was basically an all out race car you could drive on the streets back then as a club house race car. Now in the series the Prisoner (Number 6) had to use hand signals to turn because it did not have the signal lights (of course in other jurisdictions you had to add the lights to get the car into your country). Still - a Lotus Super 7!

What a surprise.....

Goodnight.....

Making progress by leaps and bounds with the advocacy.

Family is over and my time is limited. However the advocacy and strategy is moving at freight train speed and purpose!

I went over the original Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) that turned into the Sustainable Development Goals and they actually make mention of some bight purpose - in just a few sentences about self-actualization and the role of the human rights - but that isn't enough! But it is definitely there in the fine print and that is my way in with the Positive Mandate. Why didn't they go further? Probably because any idea usually runs counter to religions, cultures and geopolitical concerns. However, the Positive Mandate is just about happiness and really through the Declaration of Human Rights which is really rights about the fullest expression of ourselves in all aspects of our lives because it makes us happy!

The Positive Mandate is the least offensive goal to put atop the 17 SDGs goals and turns all of that into a new Global Social Contract!

The goals are targeted to be met by 2030 and while some marginal successes can be made - I believe they will have to update things and try for 2040, perhaps with the Positive Mandate as the ultimate goal that was never stated in the beginning - yet now can be as a new Global Social Contract!

The Worldwide Vote carries on but can be hosted in many places but the best place is at the UN and as a part of the SDG goals as a process for global
self-determination for humanity with regards to the SDG goals. This is the perfect time to disseminate these ideas for inclusion after 2030 but it has to start now!

This whole thing is so insane as I was given next to zero chance at any of this back in 2004 and here we are today! What was a one out of a billion chance of happening is now one out of three for something to happen with the advocacy and we are still in ascension.....

Just one wild ride.....

Goodnight.....

No time to do anything but updates.....

Lotus Super Seven

I am seriously considering possibly buying a Lotus 7 or Lotus Super Seven car as they are way cheaper than I thought.

They can be cheaper than what I spent in guitars. In fact if a car showed up I could buy it - an original Lotus Super 7 - with cash I already have in my bank account! The only question is when one shows up.

I'm not interested in the later versions as those were made to look more modern and I hate the look. I want the old ones. The ones with the old rounded wheel surrounds. The old ones with four wheel drum brakes. The original 1500cc Cosworth engine that gives the car a top speed of 80mph.

These cars are death traps. So low slung the other cars will regularly try to back up over you - thank goodness for reverse cameras! Roll without a roll bar and you are dead.

Original cars didn't have a roll bar and the car looks best this way. The flat bench seat if possible. I want it totally old-school.

Lotus Super Seven in the original configuration Inwant!

Anyway, I'm looking.....

Goodnight.....

Saturday.....

We have two people in their mid-90s at my dad's place so there is a lot going on. No matter, things are slightly upbeat today. While I was getting some good luck with the advocacy - I was getting bad luck at home; but now thing's are evening out a bit. I should be back at the United Nations on September 21, and how long I stay there is still up in the air. However, not too long though as hotels are ridiculous high during General Assembly.

For now I'm working on some replies to a questionnaire on the activities at the UN, putting our own little spin on how things could be improved. No trips to the mall today, maybe a movie at home tonight as it will rain all night.

Goodnight.....

Too much stuff happening on the home front.

I will just have to be satisfied to start the questionnaire abit the SDGs at the United. Nactions.

I looked at my guitars this weekend.

More fun and games for Monday.

Surprisingly this is good for the big plays on advocacy. Just
surf the bad luck wave and stack the good luck you will need in a few weeks.

Goodnight.....

So, a relative gave me a 50 dollar Google Play gift card. It was given to him by someone else and was a year old and I figured I would give it a try.

The idea would be to use it to buy a high end photography app like Halide on my iPhone. Well, there is no Halide on Android and the rest kid of sucked so I did have one subscription for a wifi calling number. So I scratched the back of the card and redeemed the card and got a pop up that said they needed more information - Here we Go!

They wanted my name and email and where I was located. Then they wanted photos of the front and back of the card along with a photo of the original receipt! So I sent in the information and photos and waited until I got back a conformation email that they were looking at my case.

On Reddit I read that this happens all the time and then they will say there were inconsistencies and decline the card. So a day passed by and nothing. Then I got ready to never see this money - and if you fight Google - they can delete your Google account with all your emails and all your apps paid and free and say there was fraud involved.

Basically I was just going to do nothing and not incite the wrath of Google - Alphabet. I was going to rage about it all in this blog of sorts. This was all you could read about the Google Play gift cards online. So imagine my surprise when on the second day I got an email telling me I could redeem the card. The balance still says 0.00 so I have to input it all over again.

Anyway, if I was going to rage all over not
getting the money - I shall honor the process and tell you that they did honor the gift card after all!

Goodnight.....

Late update.

I put the Google Gift Card redeem code in again and : 50 dollars!

I will finalize the plane trip to New York now.

Work on the questioner continues.

I did buy a wireless charge pack. You may not need it but when you do - it's a lifesaver. Get one that charges wirelessly. Like my 14 Pro Max has lightening but this will still charge that without cables. It has USBC / USBA and the old USB Micro to handle it all. Trust me on this - buy one and keep that ready to go at a moments notice.....

I purchased the flight tickets for the Inited Nations events through Air Canada. I prefer them to Delta as Delta always has delays. Anyway, that is taken care of as we are under four weeks now.

I also got the emergency medical coverage for he trip but this time they said I was too old for coverage as they only go up to 85 years of age. So I reapplied and got covered.

Next was the useless 50 dollar Google gift card. At least the 50 dollars appeared somewhere! How ever I could not use it for my wifi calling
number subscription as that was tied to another gmail account. So I Googled best paid apps and got one that turns your phone into a monitor and that took care of half of it. I don't need this app - I'm just spending the money out of spite right now.

I got another high priced music app for music on your phone and at least it has some ready made playlists for me! That was huge and so worth the money. I won't tell you the all names of these applications because you will download and install them and pay upfront and then curse me if it does t work for you.....

The remainder were games like Pac Man and Lunar Lander and I whittled the balance down to 11 cents and was done with it!

Never again Google Gift Card!

Goodnight.....

Hi y'all.....

Another one that is short because stuff is going on at the home front but it doesn't impact me or the advocacy that is going full-steam-ahead!

I just renewed a bunch of positive mandate websites and The Fortress Experiment website. You have to hold those domains or else some other mepharious entity will snap them up and start spoofing them and you website will be impacted.

What else:

The new scifi movie called "Signal One" is a very good movie. Unlike "Hail Mary" it knows its stuff and they get right into it with quantum computers, entanglement and the thorny issue of first contact. One of the better scifi movies for those with more than two neurons to run together. This movie gets my official thumbs up. And ck grates for using actors that look like real people and a play and script that don't need pretty people to keep you watching.....

Made it to the end of the week!

Things are easing up a bit and "sort of" getting back to normal. At least I get some sleep at night.

As before the advocacy chugs along except I will probably check in at the IMF again and see what's happening there. Also UNESCO and start planning things.

Wow - just a week ago I was planning to get some classic car - and here I am now.....

Later.....

Important: Here is a PSA abut Graphene OS and the new Pixel 11 phones!

"We have a partial port of GrapheneOS to the Pixel 11 series after a week of work on it. We're unable to complete the port due to lack of support for ARM hardware memory tagging in software, firmware and near certainly hardware. It appears Google cut an important security feature to save money."

In other words, do not buy a Pixel 11 with the intention of putting Graphene OS on it. I will suggest you just wait until the Motorola
phones come out or buy a Pixel 10 unlocked with the bootloader unlocked also. If you can not tell for sure because it's new and still in the box - just buy a used phone and make sure you can put the Graphene OS on it.

So it turns out the Pixel 11 phones are not as secure as the ones before it! You had better hope the Graphene Motorola phone comes out or Graphene may be in trouble. People need these privacy phones as a benchmark to how invasive your current phones are with regard to privacy. So you give out so much information to corporate or government or law enforcement and maybe soon - no alternatives - is that the plan? First they wanted to label you as a criminal if you used Graphene OS and now the new phones can't meet the privacy benchmarks os the former Android OS.

Anyway, Don't buy a Pixel 11 with Graphene in mind. Just buy the Pixel 9 or 10 instead.....

Goodnight.....

And "bingo" - just like that I have three weeks to get ready before the New York Trip and I have to concentrate on that.....

I will probably make another set of business cards for the Positive Mandate for Humanity and take both cards with me.

I will still separate the two concepts as the Worldwide Vote is actually a talking point now. But the Positive Mandate will have to disseminate quickly as the SDGs by 2040 will get set up and the play is to get some sort of overarching concept or philosophy to cap all the sustainable Development Goals and thus make that the New Global Social Contract. Four years to do that but it's there (the Sustainable Development Goals framework) and is already set up to become a proper Global Social Contract. A non-geopolitical, non-cultural and non-religious concept like the Positive Mandate could have a chance at becoming the "cherry on top" of the Sustainable Development Goals going forward.

My citizen journalist speech in 2015!

Maurice Ali answering questions!

I put my chances at one out of three and still feel it's that close. Remember that for citizen journalism we went from the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, to UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, then to the United Nations in New York in January of 2015, then that General Assembly speech in July 2015, and finally adoption of protections for internet media workers as international policy in December of 2015! All that happened before IAIJ got consultative status in 2017.

My citizen journalist speech in 2015 in General Assembly!

So this can happen - been there and done that.....

Goodnight.....

A late one.

I found my Worldwide vote business cards file and will make some for the Positive Mandate and take the two with me to the ITU event in New York.

I will also have some envelopes for VIPs to hand out. This may all be for nothing but then you could score big time. You do what you can and this is the best event for me to do it.

Goodnight.....

So this was last year's card for advocacy:

On the other side is the usual IAIJ business card I carry. I will probably don the same thing like this:

POSITIVE MANDATE FOR HUMANITY

"The freest expression of our mind and body because it makes us happy!"

Please visit:
https://positivemandateforhumanity.org

See how this concept and philosophy can be used to create a New Global Social Contract at the United Nations!

I'm just there at this event to disseminate another idea along with the Worldwide Vote. As I said before I'm keeping both ideas separate as the global vote now has some traction at the UN and I don'nt want to muddy the idea with the Positive Mandate yet.

We kept scoring at these events last year that we may be due for a dud - so we may as well use it to disseminate the Positive Mandate for Humanity!

Goodnight.....
