With less than a month to go before the trip to the United Nations, I start preparing with the things that taken the most time to get ready.
First is to locate my spare glasses as fixing that takes weeks. I found.them so that is done.
Then there is the apps. The ones in the App.Store and Google Play don't need any attention but I do want the old Demo app just incase the internet is bad where ever I may be. So I updated that 2017 app to Android 16 and it works! The only issue is a blank notification window but everything else actually works. I'll try to put text in the notifications window later but the Demo app is now good enough that I installed it on the Nord N30.
It won't install he Demo on the S25 ans even with protection off I can't side load our APK! I'll keep at it but Android is almost as locked down as iOS now.....
Anyway the demo on the N30 is fine with me as that phone is a third world phone good for little else - especially since One Plus locked the bootloader permanently! Mine is now a prop for the Worldwide Vote and nothing else. This phone doesn't even have eSim so it could not be my backup phone as my eSim in the iPhone would not work - that's why I got the S25. A real disappointment here but it was a sub 300 buck phone new. So it's fate is a demo phone with no Google services or anything that links to me. They can steal the phone and my reaction would be - now I get to buy a new and better phone.....
Since people are lazy and only use the AI and never visit websites anymore, I pasted a bunch of text on the Positive Mandate website and the AI presents it like a Wikipedia entry and the user thinks it is more legitimate than if they went only to one of my humble websites. So I will do the same for the Worldwide Vote. Currently the AI only presents the Worldwide Vote as a book and study / literature on the subject, but we are bigger than the others with apps and all that - so I will do the paste thing on the Worldwide Vote index pages and see how that goes.
Also I need to make that banner with the App Store and Google Play to let people know you can download the app.
Then there is work on the houses this weekend. I will also preen myself up a bit and all that.
Goodnight.....

I might as well do this now.....
The small lineup of phones is now set - whether I like it or not.
I have the iPhone as my daily driver with 2tb of space. My secondary and practice phone for app work is the S25 Ultra. The One Plus Nord N30 is the hand out voting phone demo for people to mess with. Only a fool would hang around the United Nations handing out their personal phone with their whole life on it to anyone that asks to fiddle with the phone. Then the phone gets lost and never returned - or - after a day someone finds it and leaves it with the UN to let you have it back? I suggest you never use that phone again.....
So for under 300 bucks, the cheap Nord N30 is good insurance while advocating the Worldwide Vote!
I tried to put e/os on the Pizel 7 but I could not get the phone to unlock the non-standard bootloader. So the Pixel 7 is Graphene OS whether I want it or not. Just as well as I have no idea if or when the OS gets compromised - or not.
My lineup of phones is proper now. I can forget it and moved on.
The grass got cut at both places on Saturday. I did enjoy shopping for a new phone and almost picked up a Pixel 9 or 10. Goodthing I didn't buy as the Pixel 7 won't unlock. I could have kept it open (the bootloader) but for the ultimate in security I locked it and now it's locked for good.
As a journalist and CEO of a legitimate journalist association, I can freely talk about rooted privacy phones openly and advocate for them. Sure criminals and those in the tin foil hat realm can't do this, but journalists have a real need for privacy especially to protect sources and whistle blowers. So my safari into privacy phones and obscure operating systems is legal and above board.
I should say you have no privacy when connected to the internet. You will always be found out by the man in the end. At best you can buy yourself some time - time enough to meet someone else and not be immediately tracked. Time enough for a source or whistle blower to get away after giving you information. That works for me and I have an argument to present to authorities if they start asking questions.
A long winded rant but it's Saturday night.
Goodnight.....

New music coming out:
I'll send it to the stores and then we wait for all the AI checks and all that. AI music is everywhere and AI videos are everywhere. It's amazing that big tech expects us to embrace AI material. Basically right now it has no soul but listening in the back ground you think it's catchy. Of course it grifts the best of commercial tunes of the past and uses (steals) it for its songs but the lyrics are just - blah!
That is now but in beginning it had its own sort of genre. Basically it was a catchy tune but with the most over-the-top vulgar and swear word infested lyrics that sometimes made no sense - but it had its charm and was fun. Now it's just slop.
I was debating whether to include a few links and decided to show a Monty Python soccer match between famous philosophers instead. However, to be fair to AI, the soccer match is first and the (NSFW) AI songs is below. Those three are actually on my phone and I play them every now and then. My 93 year old dad actually gets a chuckle every time listen to "Shit in my Pants" when I play it as we all go grocery shopping. So I endeavour to be fair to AI music - but to me the early stuff with all the AI issues could actually be its own thing. Today's AI music is just a blight on the industry and human artists.
Now, if AI truly becomes undeniable sentient - I'm all on board to hear what it comes up with. That would be interesting. It's sort of like the early AI songs but from the other side. In the mean time you get another Lucifari track
to listen to instead.....
Oh, I'm getting another cheque from books sales mostly from the AI book but maybe a scattering of Worldwide Vote and Positive Mandate / Global Social Contract. If anyone had told me ten years ago books I wrote would bring in the most revenue to the orgs (much more than the music) - I would have said your crazy! However, reality is sometimes bizarre in the outcomes.....

AI is screwing up how we make and distribute music!
People keep trying to find way to not get an AI label on an AI song they did not make. So distributors are requiring real Artists and engineers and producers that they previously know about for the meta data as a prerequisite for distribution.
The problem is that most in the industry have a stage name that is the only one we can use in the drop down file after writing it in, for example
as producer. So instead of Mihai (part of Lucifari) having his legal name as producer, we would have to use "Squashed Squirrel" as his stage name for that album we released a few years back. This is all because we have a professional account with Tunecore and 50 artists there - we are supposed to have "known" people involved in the organization. Now in a pinch I can add my legal name (Maurice Ali) as co-producer as I distributed that miserable AI Song I made a few years back under my legal name - it's not AI but a song about AI. Then the release looks traditional as I front the record label involved with the song.
AI has so totally messed up the music industry it is isn't even funny anymore. And (see how I start sentences with "And" and "But" - a rebel for sure..... ) to those who mocked me releasing a song under my legal name - this worked out well for me as I can release any song with the artist and band and then endorse it as my role as producer and head of the record label!
My life in the music industry.....
Goodnight.....

Lucifari's latest song has been sent to review and then to the stores.
How long have I been at this in the music? I'd say about 21 years or so. By keeping fixed costs on the cheap we are still here in 2026 producing music and now advocating for musicians and the music industry. I believe FOFSTOCK has another AI UN event early in July. It never ends but we have survived and are becoming another voice for musicians and the music industry. We basically did it all in music and can talk about it now in the Advocacy.
And realize that organizationally it's the fixed costs that ruin you. I spent 15 thousand in AAVRY KNAPP's first album at MetalWorks and another 10 thousand for the first Twenry6Hundred album also at MetalWorks. However those productions were "one offs" and were quickly paid off - but the fixed costs (like leasing an office) are like rust in a car, it's alway there and never sleeps sucking money from you - and if the revenue drops below operating costs you are out of business!
Anyway I was taking to Micheal and Shane and Mihai about getting their legal names on a song so they would be added to co-produce and legitimize that a song was not AI. Michael is now Lucifari, Mihai is Squashed Squirrel and Shane is Shane (or Frenzy as he was an known when he was in competitions with the likes of Slim Shady back in the day). Currently I'm the only act at FOF Records that operates under his legal name so I have to co-produce "Babylon Fell Last Night". Tunecore, for example, has real musicians that pull in real money and they are protecting that and themselves by making it extremely hard for an individual and AI music to populate the service. So having a legal name and be known in the industry makes the process of distribution easier. Me and Michael spent an hour trying to send the song and look professional, but in the end it was the band and then endorsed by me as co-producer that ticked all the boxes. Otherwise one person could use AI to keep creating singes and using bogus names for engineers and producers and artists would basically destroy what is left in the music industry.
So while all this is a royal pain in the ass to navigate, we at FOF will use our experience to advocate for the musicians and music industry to keep music real and the industry alive!
Plus - let's face it - with the collapse of the music industry, what would real talented musicians do with themselves today. As members of FOF they have a reason to get up in the morning and act to a better future in music.....
For Wednesday we publish the song with the new SOCAN AI policies - it just never ends! Hahaha.....
Goodnight.....
Here is a song that Michael wrote for the orgs here: Rise Unite
