Fortress Of Freedom Records Gets Ready To Invade The U.K.!

The Fortress Of Freedom Corporation is pleased to announce that all five of our albums produced and in the process of production; will also be distributed in the U.K. along with distribution in North America. Royalties will also be collected in the U.K. by SOCAN which is currently the assigned royalty collector for FOF and recognizes us as a music publisher internationally. SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) is the Canadian organization which takes care of royalties due to composers, songwriters and music-publishers when their works are broadcast or performed in public. Cinemas, arenas and clubs, concert halls, all pay licence fees to SOCAN which are distributed to composers and publishers. This doesn't cost the artist or composer anything but ensures that composers are compensated. The Fortress Of Freedom corporation believes that by accessing the European market, our artists will have the best chance at establishing their careers as musicians in the very competitive field of music.
In the US, performing rights are administered by both BMI (Broadcast Music Incorporated) & ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers). In the UK & Ireland the comparable organization is called PRS (Performing Rights Society).
