Hello and welcome to Fortress Of Freedom. Fortress Of Freedom is not a fortress of bricks and mortar; rather, it is a fortress of the mind and the human spirt to be free to think, speak, and move about the world. These freedoms are natural characteristics of man and I can demonstrate this by the example of the developing child. When a child begins to move about and explore the world, it does so one its own, it does not look for permission, nor is it enabled from others.....it is natural and occurs from within. When a child begins to speak, it does so on it's own and not by looking for permission or being enabled from the outside.....it is natural and occurs from within. When a child begins to think and make sense of its world, it does so on it's own and not by asking permission or being enabled from the outside.....it is natural and occurs within. Therefore; because these characteristics are natural to the human condition, I consider them to be absolute, self-evident, rights and freedoms for all. These rights and freedoms are the necessary building blocks for human creativity, self-determination and self-actualization. Therefore; in these times where rights and freedoms are under attack; we have created this rights and freedoms advocate called Fortress Of Freedom. Fortress of Freedom is a multi-faceted organization and entity. We will, through it's many projects, fight for these rights and freedoms for all mankind. This is an ongoing process, and we will jump from project to project as we try to help mankind to live their lives to the fullest, by allowing them the freedom to think, say and do as they wish in this world of ours.
