Production Begins On - AAVRY KNAPP: DAZE OF MY LIFE
By Maurice Ali, President and CEO: FOF Inc./IAIJ Inc.
It is Official! We have started production of the new AAVRY KNAPP album: AAVRY KNAPP: DAZE OF MY LIFE. The studio designated is Metal Works here in Toronto. First scheduled studio session is slated for December 17/18 at Metal Works.
Metal Works
I visited the world famous "Metal Works" Studios here in Toronto.
Another view of Metal Works
Phase One and Metal Works are the two best studios to record rock, so we made our decision between these two. Metal Works is run by the former Phase One owner who made Phase One "the" studio of choice for the Guess Who and Rush, etc. - back in the day.
Metal Works was started by the band called Triumph and recorded major artists such as Prince of late. Prince supposedly befriended one of the engineers there and this person now has a Juno and Grammy to his name. So this place has talent!
The real entrance to the world class Metal Works studios!
Phase One still draws in the big clients such as Bono last September and others like Herbie Hancock and 50 Cent.
The upcoming album will contain twelve tracks as follows:
1. Broken lonely Hearts
2. Daze In My Life
3. Before I Die
4. Angry Man
5. Nawlin's (the Big Easy)
6. Level Playing Field
7. Kick Out The Jam
8. I need You There
9. It's Over
10. Live Without You
11. Heaven Or Mercy
12. Hello Goodbye
AAVRY KNAPP sums up the theme of the upcoming album as: "Honest - It's totally honest, these are the Daze In My Life!"
The new album is to be released early in 2006!
In other news..... AAVRY KNAPP's earlier works are currently being mastered for a CD album titled: AAVRY KNAPP Greatest Hits. The retrospective album should be finished in the next two months The album will feature the earlier band and their hits which became popular in the Toronto area in the late 1980s into the early 1990s.
