FOF On Verge Of TV Broadcast Licence Application!

A very important moment is upon us at the Fortress Of Freedom Corporation. Within the next few days, a decision will be made as to whether FOF Inc. applies for a broadcasting licence in Canada. This decision will be made out of necessity and will ultimately reside with the current broadcasting community and not ourselves. In other words, our decision to apply for the licence will be a reactionary one.
In September of 2004 - FOF made it's first TV show. In early 2005, FOF began to shop the show around to see if ordinary people could produce and air a "Canadian Program" with one of the large broadcasters as per their licence requirements.
All the major broadcasters were solicited with CanWest Global Communications Corporation actually granting us a meeting and progressing through screening of the show to technical evaluation. CanWest Global Communications Corporation is the last broadcaster to decide whether the TV show airs or does not. If the show airs, we put away our plans for a broadcasting application as we will have shown the ordinary individual can still access the mass media, and praise will befall CanWest Global Communication Corporation. If the show does not air, then we will have all the evidence we need to approach the CRTC and apply for a broadcasting licence with all documented evidence of rejection used as the reason such an application should be granted, and why these same corporations not be considered as competitors against our application. A report of our journey into accessing the mass media will also be presented to the Ontario university and downtown Toronto business community via the next issue of The Fortress Newspaper:

As mentioned before, the decision is in the hands of the broadcasting community, then we react.
The Fortress Of Freedom Corporation believes that access to the mass media is the best way to ensure freedom of speech. By accessing the mass media, all forms of expression can be presented to the general public, rather than just the wealthy few. If it be our destiny to enter broadcasting in a big way, then prepare yourselves for a revolution in public access to broadcast TV!
